elijahelijahelijah asked: hey to the anonymous person who's scared to go out looking stylish. keep in mind that 95 percent of the people seeing you, don't know you. they'll assume you dress like that all the time (which you can) and you'll look great! and maybe a few friends might be confused at first, but if you look great, YOU AIN'T GOTTA EXPLAIN SHIT!
Anonymous asked: I'm absolutely in love with Rockabilly style and music and I always feel so comfortable when I dress like that but as much as I want to leave my house dressed that way I want to dress, I always sort of chicken out and go back to dressing 'normal' and it's really beginning to bug me because I don't feel comfortable. I don't know I just feel as if you'd maybe be the right person to help me because I really admire you and somewhat base what I wear on your outfits. (I really hope that's not creepy)
theres really no way to solve that. other than by working on your confidence. why dont you feel comfortable dressing rockabilly in public.? do you get a negative reaction.?? ~ Ive never had negative reactions to my rockabilly style, nothing like when i was goth in my teens haha ~ .xx
savage-genetics asked: I think if you like just one aspect of a trend, your´re not part of it. I listen Phychobilly and Rockabilly, but i also like other styles of music. So i don't go around calling myself Rockabilly, yeah i like the fashion too, but for my this type of style is a way of living. The same if you're Grunge, Goth, Metalhead, etc. I wil prefer describe my style as my own personal one, than say i'm part of this trend, when i'm really not. Sorry for the bad english.
I agree with you :) but i do listen to music other than rockabilly. Just i listen to rockabilly most of the time. I agree it is much like calling yourself a metalhead when you dont like metal at all :p ~
